We are pleased to continue our Canada Day tradition in Prince George, celebrating inside and outside our building.  Activities include:

Science Alliance Camps BBQ Fundraiser
Grab a burger, drink and popcorn in support of Science Allaince Summer Camps for kids! Our Summer Camp leaders will be firing up the BBQ from 10am-4:45pm to help raise funds and support the awesome science camp activities and field trips they have planned for Science Alliance kids this summer!

NEW Permanent Gallery - Hodul'eh-a (A Place of Learning)
This living gallery is in partnership between the Lheidli T'enneh and The Exploration Place.  It showcases textiles, stone tools (lithics), beading, leatherwork, images and more!  Visit this new galery and come and learn about the history of this region's first peoples.

Admission by Donation
The Exploration Place galleries are admission by donation.  As a non-profit we want to thank everyone for their on-going support!

FREE Short Science Demos
Come to our Atrium at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 12pm - CAKE TIME, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, and 4:00pm to see our short live science shows!

Visit the Historic South Fort George Schoolhouse
Take a trip back in time to 1911 to experience the life of a South Fort George student!

Explorers Urban Garden Activities
The Explorers Urban Garden will be open.  There will be FREE activities for the kids to enjoy including bubble blowing.

All Aboard the Little Prince Steam Engine!
The Little Prince Steam Engine will be on the rails Canada Day for FREE(weather permitting) from 12pm-5pm!

Free train rides today are thanks Pioneer Rail! 

Ice Cream
The Fort George Railway Scoop Shop will be open to buy your favorite scoop (or two) of locally made ice cream hand crafted by Frozen Paddle.
