2010/2011 School Year

The Exploration Place will provide shuttle service from the following schools:

College Heights, Franco Nord, Harwin, Highglen, Lakewood, Pinewood, Quinson, Ron Brent, Sacred Heart, St Mary's, Van Bien

* We are unable to provide shuttle from any other schools. Feel free to check out Paxton Shuttle Service to arrange shuttle to The Exploration Place.

Hours of Operation:

2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
8:00 am - 6:00 pm on distict-wide Professional Development days

Program Closures:

Statutory Holidays - including Good Friday and Easter Monday
Christmas Break - December 20th - January 4th
Spring Break - March 21st - March 25th

Program Fees:

Full Time Care with Shuttle (Monday to Friday) - $375 / month
Part Time Care with Shuttle - $20 / day ($30 for Pro D Days)

Full Time Care without Shuttle - $315
Part Time Care without Shuttle - $15 / day ($30 for Pro D Days)

Early Wednesday Charge (Highglen, Ron Brent, Van Bien, Harwin) - $10 / Wednesday
Family Discount  -$40 / month per child, for families with more than one child in FGE
Free Membership  after 3 consecutive months in our program, families will be given a free family membership (please note your account must be up to date and paid in full)

The Exploration Place's after-school care program is designed with children in mind. At school pick up, a healthy snack, homework time, crafts, games and activities are all part of our Fort George Explorers Program. Your child will be given ample time to take advantage of what the museum has to offer. Gallery time, presentation, experiments and projects will keep your child entertained.
