Memberships
The Exploration Place currently has over 2500 family members and is growing rapidly.
Membership at the museum entitles you to:
- Receipt of newsletter with information about exhibitions, programs, special events and more.
- Invitations to exhibit opening receptions and special member events.
- 10% off of Museum merchandise, excluding consignment items.
- Eligibility to attend and vote at the Museum's Annual General Meeting, and eligibility to stand for election on the Museum's Board of Trustees.
- Free or reduced admission to member institutions of the Canadian Council of Science Centers and the Association of Science and Technology Centers, representing hundreds of museums and science centers throughout the world.
Please Remember
- Members will not be admitted to the museum without their cards. We have thousands of members and cannot be expected to remember everyone’s face. So please, when visiting, remember your card.
- Replacement cards are available for a fee.

Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC)
If you show your valid membership card from any of the participating Canadian science centres, you will be provided with free admission. Certain restrictions may apply.
A current list of participating science centres can be found on the CASC website.
Association of Science-Technology Centers
The Exploration Place also has a reciprocal admission arrangement with participating members of the ASTC.
