Lemurs are among the most endangered mammals on Earth. Addressing this crisis requires identifying which species are most at risk and creating conservation strategies that also support Madagascar’s communities. In this talk, I present a case study of the population ecology of Eulemur fulvus and E. mongoz, and explore how community- based strategies can help safeguard the future of these and other lemurs.
