History Hall

The History Hall provides a many-faceted experience and has been designed to offer something for everyone. From a brief overview of First Nations history to a replica of the Fort George Theatre, including an exciting interactive multimedia film display, the visitor is visually toured through the Fraser-Fort George region’s early developmental history. The installations include a tableau of sternwheeler wreckage which uses the original drive shaft from an historical Fraser River paddle display. Photos and text panels illustrate the timeline, with flip books to satisfy even the most avid reader.
