The Exploration Place has been offering school programming to classrooms across Northern BC since 2001. Thanks to an $80,000 grant from the Drax Foundation, school visits and programs will be offered free of charge for Northern BC elementary, secondary, and post-secondary schools in the 2023-2024 school year.
The George Phillips Exhibit Gallery is currently closed as we take down the World War Women exhibit and set up Broken Promises. Broken Promises is coming to us from the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre and is scheduled to open on September 23rd.
Great news! The Little Prince will continue to run on Thursdays, but with a slight change in schedule. As we've all noticed, the days are getting shorter, and it's starting to get darker earlier. Beginning today, the Little Prince will be shutting down at 7pm instead of the usual 8pm. The museum will still be open until 8. See you soon!
Time is running out to catch the World War Women exhibit, here from the Canadian War Museum. Prince George is its final destination, so make Monday a double treat by immersing yourself in history and hopping aboard The Little Prince for a memorable day out.
We have great news for all you train fanatics! The Little Prince will be running this Labour Day, Monday, September 4th, from 12pm to 4:30pm. It's the perfect chance to take a ride before the school bells ring again!
Exciting news! Our upgraded system for memberships, admissions, registrations, and more is up and running!
Behind the scenes, we've been working tirelessly to ensure a seamless transition. As with any major change, there might be a few minor adjustments or kinks to work out along the way. We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding during this phase.
Here's what you can expect:
The PG Cruisin Classics will be at A&W instead of our parking lot on Thursday, August 17th, to support A&W's Burgers to Beat MS event. We'll still be open until 8pm, and the train will be running (weather permitting). We'll see you then, and the cars will be back next week!
