Lifting the Weight with Hydraulics

Target Learners: Grades 4-12

Step into the world of hydraulic engineering with this engaging workshop. In this 50 to 60-minute workshop, children will be divided into groups of 2-4, fostering teamwork and collaboration. Armed with pre-cut wood pieces, elastic bands, and a variety of raw materials, participants will embark on a creative journey to build their very own lifting machines. Guided by our experienced museum staff, kids will gain hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and operating hydraulic systems.
