Admission Rates
Admissions support The Exploration Place, a Northern BC non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity whose goal is to preserve our local history and foster lifelong learning in the areas of science, technology, heritage, and culture.
Note: On Thursdays, admission is by donation.

Reciprocal Agreements
Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC)
Present your valid membership card from any of the participating Canadian science centres, and you will be provided with FREE admission. Certain restrictions may apply. A current list of participating science centres can be found on the CASC website.
Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC)
The Exploration Place also has a reciprocal admission arrangement with participating members of the ASTC.
Parking + Accessibility
Parking is always free!
• Visitors to The Exploration Place have access to three large parking lots in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. There are four designated wheelchair-accessible spaces directly in front of the entrance. Ramps are available to reach the sidewalk.
• Entry and exit doors are automated. There are wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and a designated family bathroom with a change-table.
• An elevator lift is available between floors with a wheelchair available to borrow for those who need it, free of charge.
• The Little Prince Steam Engine is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible train car.

Northern Routes Discovery Pass
The Prince George Public Library has partnered with the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George to provide free access to some of North Central BC’s premier museums, galleries and cultural attractions. The Discovery Pass provides free general admission during the two-week loan period of the pass to all of the designated attractions, including The Exploration Place, for any combination of up to four adults or children.
