Join us for an exciting presentation about BC dinosaurs by Dr. Victoria Arbour, the Curator of Palaeontology at the Royal BC Museum!
This engaging event, perfect for kids, includes a fun-filled 15-20 minute talk followed by interactive breakout activities. Attendees will have the chance to explore real field tools used by paleontologists, learn about Buster the Ferrisaurus, and enjoy dino name dice games and colouring sheets.
The presentation is free to attend, but registration is required for each child. (Drop-in will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on remaining availability the morning of.) Parents and children under 2 can attend the presentation without registration.
Additionally, you can add a reduced admission if you want to visit the museum after the presentation. Don’t miss this chance for a prehistoric adventure!
Victoria Arbour is the curator of palaeontology at the Royal BC Museum and is on the hunt for more fossils of British Columbia’s dinosaurs. Her team is on the way to study a dinosaur tracksite with hundreds of footprints near Hudson’s Hope, BC, and they were recently collecting dinosaur bones from a mountain in Spatsizi Plateau Wilderness Provincial Park.
