Loki is turning 10 this year, and we’re marking the occasion in style! Join us on April 20th for Loki’s Birthday, a day of feathered fun and special activities to celebrate our favourite magpie.
Admission will be by donation, and we have lots of fun planned!
Birthday Activities:
10:30am – 2:30pm Meet the team from Good Caws Crow Rescue Society! Dayna, Payton, and Amy will be on-site to share tips on bird care, proper handling, and more.
11:30am Gather around for a Happy Birthday Sing-Along! Loki will be enjoying some special treats, and you’re welcome to cheer him on!
3:30pm We’re doing it all over again with another Happy Birthday Sing-Along, complete with more treats for Loki.
All-Day Fun:
Make Loki a birthday card! Colouring stations will be set up all day. Cards will be displayed in the museum and entered into a prize draw. The winner will be announced Tuesday, April 22nd.
Loki’s Special Cookies will be available by donation.
Share your favourite memory of Loki on social media for another entry into the prize draw.
Loki’s Eggstravaganza is also underway! Starting April 11th, search the galleries for colourful eggs. Each one you find earns you a ballot for the prize draw.
