We’re excited to host the Spirit Bear and Children Make History exhibit, in collaboration with the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada, Carrier Sekani Family Services, Lheidli T’enneh Nation, and Spotted Fawn Productions. Designed for children, Spirit Bear and Children Make History celebrates the true story of how children of all diversities stood, and continue to stand, with First Nations children, youth, and adults to address inequalities in First Nations children’s services so they can grow up healthy and proud.
Visitors will learn how Spirit Bear and the children stand up for equity for First Nations children, how to learn from the past, and how we can all work together to fulfill the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.
Official exhibit opening: June 21, 2024
