The Exploration Place’s Science Alliance Summer Day Camps run each year through July and August. These week-long camps teach kids about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) in a fun, “hands-on, minds-on” interactive setting. Through experiments, activities, games, presentations, guest speakers, field trips, and more, we have gotten local kids excited about science and learning since 1996.

We are looking for community-minded individuals and businesses willing to partner with us to make our camps as successful as possible.

We are very proud of our bursary program, which, thanks to generous sponsors in our community, allows children from families in financial hardship to enjoy a week of camp. Outreach is also very important to us—in addition to performing science demos in elementary schools in the area, we also attend community events around Northern BC, reaching thousands of children each year. 

Your sponsorship will fund bursaries, assist with fundraising events, and help us purchase supplies for camp activity programming.

We wouldn’t be able to keep serving Prince George’s young people without important partners like you. We are a non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity. As such, we rely on support from our donors and sponsors to help us keep costs affordable for people of all socio-economic realities.
